Russian localization and own CSS styles

Jun 19, 2014 at 7:25 PM
Hello. I've got 2 questions. Can i refuse from bootstrap fully css (delete all package) and use my simple own CSS styles? When I delete bootstrap my grid don't accept default styles and looks bad.

And second question is how can i translate the label 'Filter this column'? It in not exists in the translation javascript file.

Thanks and best regards,
Roman (Moscow)

I think you should use bootstrap to have the basic settings. And so you can write your own css in a separate file and bind that in the BundleConfig.cs as the last css file. If you do that you can override every item that you want to look in a different manner.
To get the translations you have 2 options: 1st you can use the gridmvc.lang.[LANGUAGE],js. In my case the files name is "" and for you I think its "". The last one is file is part of the GridMVC.Zip file. Please hava a look at that file and you will know what to do there if this does not fit for your needs. Do not forget to load that file in BundleConfig.cs.

2nd: I also didnt know how to do that and asked in this post and got an anwser and the solution files.
Hope it helps

You are not required to use bootstrap. Grid.mvc just build a bootstrap compatible layout (in _Grid.cshtml file). You can write your own css styles for this layout without bootstrap.

For using DateTime picker please install More info
